Apparently an update for Redmi Note 8 found. It seems to be MIUI 12.5, although it’s not out for all regions.
The update is currently only available via recovery-flashable zip, and no OTA zip file spotted anywhere yet unfortunately(or just wait for the update to show up). The codename of the update is named “RCOIDXM” and the exact version is V12.5.1.0. Apparently to our update channel, this is the changelog:

Also another thing that’s not included in changelog by Xiaomi is, this update includes December security patch as well for a more safer system.
