Xiaomi has brought new budget options for its fans in China: the Redmi R70 and Redmi R70m.
Despite having two different monikers, they are almost identical devices, differing only in their batteries and configurations. As such, both offer a Unisoc T8300 chip, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, a 6.9″ 720x1600px 120Hz LCD, a 13MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and 15W wired and 7.5W reverse wired charging support. Ultimately, the vanilla model comes with a 6000mAh battery, while the M variant offers a larger 6300mAh cell.
The Redmi R70 comes in 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, and 8GB/256GB, while the Redmi R70m is available in 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB.
Both phones are available in white, blue, black, and purple variants. Pricing for the standard variant starts at CN¥1,599, while the M model starts at CN¥1,799.
