Redmi is the latest brand to increase the prices of some of its smartphones.
The news follows numerous price hikes from brands like Realme, Vivo, OnePlus, and iQOO. Now, Redmi’s Indian branch has followed suit by increasing the prices of some of its offerings in the country.
Three of the affected devices include the Redmi Note 15, Redmi 15, and Redmi 15C. Here are the adjusted prices (alongside their original launch prices for comparison) for the said models in India:
- Redmi 15: 6GB/128GB (from ₹14,999 to ₹18,499), 8GB/128GB (from ₹15,999 to ₹20,499), and 8GB/256GB (from ₹16,999 to ₹22,499)
- Redmi 15C: 4GB/128GB (from ₹12,499 to ₹15,499), 6GB/128GB (from ₹13,999 to ₹17,499), and 8GB/128GB (from ₹15,499 to ₹19,499)
- Redmi Note 15: 8GB/128GB (from ₹22,999 to ₹24,999) and 8GB/256GB (from ₹24,999 to ₹27,999)
The company also confirmed that it will adjust the prices of some of its models in China, including the Redmi K90 Pro Max, Redmi Turbo 5, and Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The K series model will get a CN¥200 increase, while the Turbo 5 series models have their Spring Festival special offers canceled. According to the brand, the changes will start on April 11.
