Free users can upload files only up to 2 GB right now. With Telegram Premium this limit gets doubled and Premium users will be able to files up to 4 GB. All users can enjoy unlimited storage in Telegram (in saved messages, channels and groups). Anyone including free Telegram users will be able to download 4 GB files.
Faster downloads
Telegram currently limits bandwidth while users downloading files. This is made due to make Telegram servers working smoothly. With Telegram Premium you will be able to download files at the same speed as your ISP providing you.
Doubled limits
With Telegram Premium you will be able to pin up to 10 chats, create up to 20 folders with 200 chats in each folders, add fourth Telegram account in the Telegram app and add up to 10 favorite stickers.
Voice messages transcribe
Voice messages will be shown as a text under the voice message. You can rate the text to give feedback about its accuracy.
Unique stickers
Premium subscribers will be able to send stickers appearing on the whole display. Free users will be able to see the unique stickers in full screen. New premium stickers will be added by Telegram artists.
Unique reactions
Premium subscribers will be able to react messages with 10 more emojis.
Chat management
Premium subscribers will be able to change the default folder. So if you set your default folder as “Unread” the app will start showing the folder “Unread”. It’s like changing new tab function in your browser.
Animated profile pictures
Currently Telegram plays animated profile pictures when you view profile of the user. With Premium you will be able to let play your animated profile picture everywhere including chats or main menu.
Premium badge
Telegram Premium subscribes will be able to have a star icon next to their names. You can show to people you’re using Premium version of Telegram with that way.
Premium app icons
You can choose a new app icon that will appear in your home screen.
No advertisements
Currently ads are being shown in some countries and channels. These ads respect users privacy and help Telegram to operate. Ads won’t appear for Premium subscribers.

Users on macOS now have a quick way to generate a custom profile picture – choose any sticker or animated emoji as the focus, and add a colorful gradient background.
This update includes over 100 fixes and optimizations to the mobile and desktop apps. iOS users will have smoother animations (120 FPS) throughout the app. Android users will have better audio and video quality in voice and video messages.
