Samsung unveiled a brand new mobile display at CES. A new mobile display from Samsung is catchy for many phone manufacturers. Samsung displays are used in some iPhone and Xiaomi models.
The highest brightness of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is currently Samsung’s best phone, is 1750 nits. The upcoming display is brighter than the one on S22 Ultra.
Samsung showcases two displays on their presentation, the one is traditional display and the other one is UDR 2000 certified display. Samsung hasn’t revealed what the UDR is, but we assume it’s a new trademark from Samsung.
UDR might stand for Ultimate Dynamic Range. Although it is not easy to guess what it actually is at the moment, we think that Samsung will come up with an excellent display for mobile devices.
This new OLED display is verified by UL (Underwriter Laboratories). You can check more about it on UL’s official website.
