According to Burke, the new data model for the Share menu will make it faster and more enjoyable to use. At the same time, he forgot to clarify how soon the promised changes will affect Android.
Burke’s statement provoked a post from the founder of Android Police Artem Rusakovsky, who complained on Twitter about the slowness of the Share menu. In its current implementation, the list of applications includes all installed programs in which you can share this or that content. As a result, loading the menu takes a long time.
