Vivo has shared new clips that underscore the power of the upcoming Vivo X300 Pro’s camera system.
The X300 series is rumored to be coming out in October. While there are still no official words about the lineup’s launch date, the company is already gradually unveiling its details.
In new clips shared online, the brand flaunts the 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR and 4K 10-bit Log video recordings taken using the said device. Both clips highlight the handheld’s cinematic slow-motion capabilities, with the second clip underscoring its flexibility in brightness and contrast adjustment.
The X300 Pro utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, which is accompanied by a Vivo V3+ chip. The imaging chip should enhance computational photography and videography and allow the use of professional-grade video features.
According to earlier reports, the Pro model will feature a 50MP 1/1.28″ LYT828 main camera. The lens is complemented by a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP 1/1.4″ 85mm HPB periscope, the latter reportedly supporting a telephoto macro function. The camera system is also tipped to feature Zeiss T* coating, which should prevent glare issues, and CIPA 5.5 OIS.
Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao also confirmed days ago that the model boasts an upgraded flash unit with a three-focus zoom flash capability. The official underscored that the flash can specifically cater to 24mm, 50mm, and 85mm focal length shots, with the latter reportedly providing a 60% increase in brightness compared to the previous generation. With this, Han Boxiao is marketing the X300 series models as the perfect device for night photography.
