A Vivo official has shared the front display design of the upcoming Vivo X Fold 5 alongside its other screen details.
The foldable is expected to arrive soon in China, as suggested by the brand’s recent series of teasers. In its latest move, Vivo’s Han Boxiao posted the official front display design of the phone, which seems to have decent bezel thickness.
The post also confirms some of the phone’s display features, including its punch-hole cutout in the upper right section of the display, LTPO 8T screen, “ultra-high resolution,” 4500nits local peak brightness, TÜV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 certification, high-frequency PWM dimming, and Zeiss Master Color support.
The news follows several revelations by the company regarding the X Fold 3 successor, which is said to be lighter. It is also coming with impressive protection ratings and features, including IP5X, IPX8, IPX9, and IPX9+. Most recently, the company claimed that, unlike the earlier foldable, the Vivo X Fold 5 can survive the -20°C setting “for a long time.”
