First Vivo X Fold 6 leak reveals chip, 200MP lens, debut timeline, more

A Chinese tipster has provided the first key details about the Vivo X Fold 6, including its potential release in the second quarter of 2026.

The Vivo X Fold 5 debuted in June. According to Smart Pikachu, the brand is targeting the same quarter next year for the arrival of its successor, the X Fold 6.

Several sections of the foldable are expected to be improved, including the chip, which is allegedly going to be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Like other foldables, the phone will continue to use a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for user verification, but it is rumored to come with a 200MP camera this time. It is unknown, however, whether it will be a main or telephoto unit. To recall, its predecessor features a 50MP 1/1.56″ Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS, a 50MP 1/1.95″ Sony IMX882 periscope with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
