In addition to its lenses, Vivo revealed that the X300 Pro is getting an upgrade in its flash.
The X300 series is expected to offer some improvements in the different sections of its devices. One includes the camera department, which is rumored to get new lenses.
According to earlier reports, the Pro model will feature a 50MP 1/1.28″ LYT828 main camera. The lens is complemented by a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP 1/1.4″ 85mm HPB periscope, the latter reportedly supporting a telephoto macro function. The camera system is also tipped to feature Zeiss T* coating, which should prevent glare issues, and CIPA 5.5 OIS. Ultimately, the entire system will be boosted using the brand’s V3 and VS1 imaging chips, allowing enhanced image processing, color restoration, and other advanced computational photography capabilities.
Now, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao has shared new details about the handheld. According to him, the phone will boast an upgraded flash unit with a three-focus zoom flash capability.
The official underscored that the flash can specifically cater to 24mm, 50mm, and 85mm focal length shots, with the latter reportedly providing a 60% increase in brightness compared to the previous generation. According to him, the vanilla X300 also inherits the dual-focus zoom flash of the X200 Ultra.
With the improvements made in the phones’ flash units, Han Boxiao is marketing the X300 series models as the perfect devices for night photography.
