We are not kidding: the Vivo X500 Pro Max will feature a comically large camera module.
That is according to recent leaks that surfaced online. This is bigger than the already-overwhelming camera island in the X300 series.
According to the leaked photo and clip, the module is still located in the upper portion of the back panel. However, its entirety now covers both the right and left sides of the phone’s back due to its size. For comparison, here is the Vivo X300 Ultra and the alleged Vivo X500 Pro Max unit:

A clip also shows the phone with a numbered ring, signifying its capability to be used manually.
According to earlier reports, the Vivo X500 Pro Max will feature a 50MP Sony 1/1.28″ LOFIC main camera, a 200MP 1/1.4″ Samsung HP0 telephoto, and a 50MP Sony IMX8-series ultrawide unit. It is also expected to bring a MediaTek Dimensity 9600-series chip and a 6.85″ BOE Q11 144Hz LTPO display.
The Vivo X500 Pro Max will launch this month alongside the Vivo X500 and Vivo X500 Pro.
