Vivo’s battery plans for the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra model and the Vivo X500 series have leaked.
The X300 series is now available in the market, with the vanilla and Pro models offering 6040mAh and 6510mAh batteries, respectively (China). According to recent reports, the brand is also preparing the Ultra model, which is expected to arrive in the global market soon.
In a recent post, Digital Chat Station discussed the current testing phase for the phone’s battery. According to the tipster, the device in the tests hasn’t reached the said capacity, so we are expecting a cell with more than 6000mAh.
The account also discussed Vivo’s current tests for its future devices, noting that it is working on mid-range models with batteries ranging from 8000mAh to 9000mAh. In the flagship department, on the other hand, the X500 series is reportedly being tested with a 7000mAh capacity. If true, this will be a decent improvement over the current 6000mAh+ capacity of the X300 series.
