Chinese fans are in for a treat, with Vivo unveiling the two latest members of the Y series: the Vivo Y600 Pro and Vivo Y500s.
The S model is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip and features up to 12GB of RAM. It also has a 7200mAh battery, which is said to use Blue Ocean 3 technology, making it safe to recharge even at hot (40°C) or cold (-20°C) temperatures. It also impresses in other sections, thanks to its 50MP main camera and IP69 rating.
The Pro model, on the other hand, comes with a set of more impressive details. First off, it comes with a gigantic 10,200mAh battery, which Vivo says has 1,600 charging cycles. This should allow it to retain 80% of its capacity after six years of use. Even more, it can double as a power bank, thanks to its reverse-charging feature.
It also has IP68 and IP69 protection ratings, which shield its entire body, including its 6.83″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED. Other noteworthy highlights of the phone include the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip and a 50MP main camera with OIS. Pricing starts at CNY 2,099 ($308).
