The introduction of Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro has been confirmed by Xiaomi! Xiaomi’s latest post reveals Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will be unveiled on September 26th, coinciding with the launch date of Xiaomi 13T series. Both Xiaomi 13T series and Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will be introduced in the September 26th event, and additionally, the upcoming watch will not be available in China. The introduction of Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro isn’t actually a big surprise for us, as we had previously discovered the upcoming smartwatch in the IMEI database. The presence of the watch in the IMEI database indicates that the Watch 2 Pro will support e-SIM.
We had shared with you in a previous article that the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will come with e-SIM support, and Xiaomi’s latest teaser video confirms this. The Watch 2 Pro will have e-SIM support and will run WearOS operating system. Xiaomi’s new watch is coming as a significant competitor to the Samsung Watch and other WearOS smartwatches.
Earlier, some render images of the Watch 2 Pro were revealed and this also revealed some specs. Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will come with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and the watch will come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity. e-SIM support and built-in speaker will allow you to make voice calls without being connected to your phone.
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro may feature a rotating bezel, similar to what we have on the Samsung Watch Classic series. You can rotate the bezel to control the watch, so you can go beyond only using the buttons and touchscreen.
