Xiaomi’s latest flagship series has finally been introduced Globally. As you know, Xiaomi 12 series devices were introduced in China on December 28, 2020. Devices finally meet the whole world after a period of about 3 months. Flagship devices powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (SM8450). Octa-core processor with 4nm process is a real performance beast with 1×3.00 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 and 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510 cores.

Xiaomi 12’s screen is 6.28″ FHD+ (1080×2400) OLED with 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. There is a drop from 2K screen to 1080p screen in Xiaomi 11, but don’t worry the display trend continues with 2K display on Xiaomi 12 Pro

Xiaomi 12 Series Differences with China Versions
Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro devices are exactly the same as the variants introduced in China. Just as always Global versions have more different LTE and NR (1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41, 66, 77, 78, 79 SA/NSA) bands and the CE logo on the back cover. These are the classic China and Global Xiaomi devices differences anyway.
Xiaomi 12 series will receive 3 years of Android update and 4 years of security updates. So this device will receive the Android 15 update.
