LEICA signed and more powerful model of the Xiaomi 12 series, the Xiaomi 12S Pro AnTuTu score has emerged. The new model, which will be released on July 4, features LEICA optics as well as Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is much more efficient compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Xiaomi, which could not achieve the desired success in the camera with the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which was released in December 2021, seems to make up for the lack of the camera with the Xiaomi 12S Pro.
Xiaomi 12S Pro AnTuTu Score
According to the AnTuTu performance test published days before the launch of the Xiaomi 12S Pro, the Xiaomi 12S Pro scored 1,113,135, outperforming other Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 8+ Gen 1 models. According to the official AnTuTu data, the Xiaomi 12 Pro achieves 986,692 score. The new model is 126,443 points higher than before, but the real highlight is the improved thermal and energy efficiency. The fact that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the Xiaomi 12 Pro was produced by Samsung brought major optimization issues. The device was overheating and throttling. TSMC’s production of the 8+ Gen 1 significantly increases the energy efficiency and avoids the overheating problem.
Xiaomi engineers have also worked hard to improve the cooling performance of the device. The cooling technology of the Xiaomi 12S Pro is much more effective than that of the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
According to the May 2022 AnTuTu V9 rankings, the top 5 devices are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and their rankings are very close. The highest-ranked Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 device on the list is the Red Magic 7 with a score of 1,042,141. The third and fourth places on the list belong to Xiaomi with the POCO F4 GT and Xiaomi 12 Pro. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 engineering samples reached a maximum of 1,089,105 scores.
Xiaomi’s first model with the LEICA signature, the Xiaomi 12S Pro, is only being launched in the Chinese market and therefore does not have a DXOMARK ranking. The new model, which avoids the optimization problems and overheating of the previous models, will be launched on July 4 and is expected to achieve high sales from the first moment.
