Xiaomi will soon launch the Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro smartphones in China. The Xiaomi 12S lineup will debut as an updated version of the previous Xiaomi 12 series. The devices are roaming around the corners and aren’t too far from getting launched officially in the country. The device was previously spotted on the Mi Code and now, the 12S Pro Dimensity Edition has been listed up on the 3C certification. Which again hints at the upcoming launch of the device.
Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity Edition spotted on 3C Certification
Back in the month of May, three Xiaomi devices with model numbers 2203121C, 2206123SC, and 2206122SC were spotted at the CMIIT certification in China. Out of which 2206123SC and 2206122SC were reported to be the forthcoming Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro respectively. Both the devices will debut with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. The Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity Edition was also confirmed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
Going back to the headline, a new Xiaomi device with the model number 2207122MC has been spotted on the 3C certification. The same device has previously been listed on the IMEI database and according to the reports, it is none other than the Dimensity 9000 variant of the Xiaomi 12S Pro device. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t tell us about anything rated than the charging specifications of the device. The device will bring support for 67W fast wired charging, according to the listings.
According to rumours, it will be an upgraded version of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, with specifications such as a 6.73-inch Super AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera, a 32-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, a 4600mAh battery with support for 67W fast wired charging, and much more. The device will soon be available in China only.
