Xiaomi 13 series was supposed to be unveiled on December 1, however unexpectedly, that launch date was changed.
Xiaomi delayed the introduction of Xiaomi 13 series after the unexpected death of Jiang Zemin, who previously served as president in China. Former Chinese president Jiang Zemin died in Shanghai on Wednesday last week.
Earlier Xiaomi did not specify when it will be made, while announcing that the introduction date had been moved forward. Xiaomi now officially announces the launch date, with just three days left, with that being said the introduction will take place on December 11.

With the rumors we shared in the past, we expected Xiaomi 13 to have a leather back cover. Xiaomi 13 features a leather back cover, while Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with ceramic back. The display of Xiaomi 13 is flat, whereas the display on the Xiaomi 13 Pro is curved. Even though the Xiaomi 13’s screen is flat, its relatively thin bezels make it look decent.
Xiaomi 13 Pro
We get a ceramic back on the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Despite ceramic is being a more premium material, the leather back cover also has an advantage. The back cover of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra was also made of leather. Xiaomi 13 is a compact and lightweight flagship, while Xiaomi 13 Pro will come up with a more premium design.
Here is the green version of Xiaomi 13 Pro. Alongside the smartphone Xiaomi will also a watch and wireless earphone combo in same color as Xiaomi 13 Pro. We will share more details on Xiaomi 13 series one the introduction event is made.
