Xiaomi’s latest flagship phone, Xiaomi 13 will be released in November. Xiaomi 13 series will finally debut after the Xiaomi 12 and 12S series. The Xiaomi 13 will use the newest hardware as we expect from a flagship device.
Xiaomi 13 to launch in November
Despite the fact that we are unaware of all of its technical details, Xiaomi 13 will undoubtedly be released this month. It’s expected to come with Qualcomm’s latest mobile chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Snapdragon releases a list of the manufacturers that will be included in its devices firstly after a new chipset is released and Xiaomi is one of them. Even it’s unofficial yet, Xiaomi 13 is very likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is manufactured by TSMC under 4nm process. It’s the first time a Qualcomm’s mobile chipset features Wi-Fi 7 and a peak speed of 5.8Gbps. It also supports AV1 video codec which is useful at saving storage space or mobile data usage. Lu Weibing, manager of Xiaomi/Redmi China shared that Xiaomi will release new flagship and midrange devices in November. Even though he doesn’t address the Xiaomi 13 specifically, we can assume that it will eventually become the next flagship by Xiaomi. Xiaomi often releases its phones at the beginning or end of the year. Xiaomi 13 series appears to be one of the new phones that will be released at the end of the year.
