Xiaomi 14 series to feature 4K front facing video with faster USB speeds.

Xiaomi is finally giving users what they want, rumor has it that the Xiaomi 14 series could feature 4K front video recording and USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer protocol on the charging port.

Users have frequently made complaints about Xiaomi phones, particularly regarding the USB Type-C port’s limited USB 2.0 speeds and the underwhelming quality of the front-facing cameras, which often is pretty much same as those found in entry-level devices. Xiaomi’s some flagship devices is capped at only 1080P 30 FPS videos, not even 60.

Xiaomi 14 series: 4K video recording on front camera and USB 3.2 Gen 1

Many smartphone manufacturers, such as Samsung, iPhone, and Sony, have already been offering 4K video recording capabilities on their front cameras for quite some time. The tech blogger Kartikey Singh, recently hinted on Twitter that the Xiaomi 14 series will finally catch up by enabling 4K video recording on its front camera. In fact, it is not difficult to guess this since Xiaomi CIVI 3 is a recently introduced phone that can record 4K with the front camera. This is something we haven’t seen before in Xiaomi phones.

Xiaomi CIVI series is a series intended to have a good front camera and Xiaomi achieved a significant milestone with the CIVI 3 by offering the capability to record 4K videos with the front camera. Xiaomi’s decision to bring this feature to its flagship models, such as the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series, is an unexpected yet welcome move. Additionally, Xiaomi has previously demonstrated their commitment to faster connectivity options with the inclusion of the USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds in Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Pad 6 series.
