New leak says Xiaomi 17, 17 Ultra getting similar price as predecessors in Europe

Despite earlier reports, a new tip from Europe claims that the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra won’t see a price hike in the market.

The Xiaomi models are expected to arrive globally soon, with reports saying it could be on February 28. According to earlier rumors, the Indian market and other international markets could welcome the phones at higher price points than the current Xiaomi 15 series. However, a recent leak in France says otherwise.

As per the report, the vanilla Xiaomi 17 model is coming in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations, priced at €999 and €1,099, respectively. The Ultra model, meanwhile, is reportedly available in 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB, allegedly priced at €1,499 and €1,699, respectively. If true, this means the upcoming phones will have the same price tags as their predecessors. To recall, the Xiaomi 15 starts at €1,000, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s base configuration costs €1,500.

It is important to note, nonetheless, that it is best to take the details with a pinch of salt. Moreover, prices of the phones across Europe can still vary by country.

The tip also reveals the color options of the phones. While the standard model allegedly has Black, Venture Green, Ice Blue, and Alpine Pink options, the Ultra is expected to arrive in Black, White, and Starlit Green.

As for their specifications, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra could feature the same set as their Chinese counterparts. However, they are expected to come with smaller batteries.
