The Xiaomi 17 series has already surpassed the earlier generation’s sales in China. Meanwhile, as demands for Pro models continue to remain high, the brand has promised that supplies are being restocked.
The lineup is now available in China, and it was an immediate success right after it hit the shelves. Just days after its debut, it had already sold over a million units, while the Pro Max quickly became out of stock. The Pro Max model is said to be responsible for half of the sales. Offline sales of the models are also revealed to be twice to three times the volume of the lineup’s online sales.
According to Xiaomi President Lu Weibing, the series’ sales are now 20% more than those of the earlier lineup during the same period last year.
The executive also addressed the continuous demand for the Pro and Pro Max models. According to him, the company is continuously working to replenish the supplies for the Pro models, especially the Pro Max, which sold out immediately.
