A new certification has confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be launched globally.
The Xiaomi 17 series is an impressive lineup. However, the Pro and Pro Max models never made it outside of China. This will change in the Xiaomi 18 series.
According to earlier reports, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max would hit the global shelves this time. This has been affirmed by the presence of the Pro variant in the global databases under the 26122PN61G model number. Some of the markets expected to welcome the phone include Europe, Turkey, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, and more. However, India is allegedly not on the list, albeit it is still expected to get the Pro Max.
According to earlier leaks, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be armed with a 2nm chip, believed to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. On its back, it will house a 200MP large-sensor main camera and a 200MP telephoto macro unit. It is also equipped with a huge battery with a starting capacity of 7000mAh, as well as 100W wired charging and wireless charging support. It will also inherit its predecessor’s rear display, with reports suggesting it will offer more features and AI capabilities.
