According to a reputable tipster, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will feature an improved display with thinner bezels.
Xiaomi announces its flagship series in China in the fourth quarter and releases it globally in the first quarter of the following year. Now that we’re approaching the second quarter, rumors about the Xiaomi 18 lineup are starting to emerge.
According to Digital Chat Station, the series will also include a Pro Max variant. The phone is allegedly coming with a 6.9″ flat OLED with 1-nit low brightness and BT.2020 support. The screen is also said to boast the LIPO technology, which will equip the device with thin screen bezels. DCS noted, nonetheless, that the bezels will be thinner than those in the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max (1.18mm).
The account also echoed rumors that the phone will house the upcoming 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip. We also expect the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max rear display, which is one of the main highlights of the current Pro and Pro Max models in the Xiaomi 17 series.
