Xiaomi has already confirmed that they will be launching Redmi Note 11T lineup of smartphones in China on May 24th, 2022. The Note 11T series will possibly consist of three smartphones; Redmi Note 11T, Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+. Anyway, going back to the main headline, the brand has now confirmed the launch date of its forthcoming Xiaomi Band 7. Xiaomi Band 7 will be a successor to Mi Band 6.
Xiaomi Band 7 set to launch officially in China
The Xiaomi Band 7 smart band will be available in China on May 24th, alongside the Redmi Note 11T smartphone lineup. The smartphone’s launch date has been officially confirmed on its official social media pages. The teaser image also shows a glimpse of the all-new Band 7. It appears to be very similar to the Band 6, but it is said to have a bezeless display. Band 6 already had a very thin bezel, and Xiaomi has gone even thinner in Band 7.
The price of the Band 7 was already leaked online before the official announcement or launch event. The Band 7 will be priced at CNY 269 in China, according to the leak (USD 40). However, this is the price of the Band 7 NFC variant; there may be a non-NFC variant that is cheaper than the NFC version.
The Mi Band 7 will have some decent specs, including an AMOLED screen with a 1.56 inch 490192 resolution and a blood oxygen level sensor in both NFC and non-NFC models. The battery will be 250mAh, which is adequate for a device that uses almost no power, so expect a long battery life.
