Xiaomi Book Air 13 was announced alongside the Redmi Note 12 series. The features of this laptop, which has a 13.3-inch screen, are quite interesting. It uses Intel’s 12th generation i5 and i7 processor.
Xiaomi Book Air comes with 2 different processors, i7-1250U and i5-1230U. Since the laptop is very thin, Xiaomi has offered a processor using low power.
The notebook’s body has just 12mm of thickness, weighs 1.2kg. 13.3″ OLED display has a resolution of 2880 x 1800px and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The screen has touch input and supports Dolby Vision. It’s HDR 500 certified and it has 100% coverage of DCI-P3 color space.
This thin laptop features 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB 4.0) at 40 Gbps speed, supports PD charging and video output. Fingerprint sensor integrated power button is placed at the side of laptop. 3.5mm headphone jack is present on laptop as well. Xiaomi has also added a magnetic spot for attaching the Xiaomi Stylus to the laptop.
You can use Xiaomi Stylus to draw on Xiaomi Book Air’s 2.8K E4 OLED display. The display has 600 nits of peak brightness. Despite its compact size, the Xiaomi Book Air has a battery capacity of 58.3 Wh. It is charged via the Type C port using a 65W charging adapter.
Both i5 and i7 versions have 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Xiaomi Book Air is launched in China, we don’t know if it will be available globally.
