Xiaomi’s Lu Weibing has showcased the Redmi K100 ahead of its debut this month.
The vanilla model is expected to launch at the end of the month. While we are waiting for its arrival, Lu Weibing flaunted the phone with a flat design and in a green shade. The phone boasts a rectangular camera island with two circular lens cutouts. The clip also confirms that the device offers Bose technology.
According to a tip, the phone is coming with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. These components alone are said to cost around CN¥3,000 ($450), but Xiaomi is reportedly aiming to get the phone into the CN¥3,699 ($550) segment.
The phone is also reportedly featuring a dedicated graphics chip and a large vibration motor. Earlier reports claimed that the phone could also come with a 185Hz display with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an IP68 rating, and 100W charging. The phone could also offer a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto macro, and an 8000mAh+ battery.
