Today, Xiaomi announced its new 120W fast-charging cable, which starts with a price tag of 39 yuan. The new 120W fast charging cable is a 6A cable that supports Type-C to Type-C. Usually, such cables are offered for sale with Xiaomi smartphones and chargers. But this time it has been introduced separately for users who only need the cable.

The new cable can offer 120W fast charging with 6A support for smartphones. This cable has two versions of 1 and 2 meters. In addition, this cable offers 100W PD charging support. You can charge a laptop that supports Power Delivery. Of course, the computer must have a Type-C part. Otherwise, you cannot perform the charging process.
Note that the cable supports USB 2.0. Theoretically, it has a transmission speed of 480Mbps. If you consider that many power cables have USB 2.0 speeds, it’s not a dealbreaker but definitely worth mentioning. The primary factors to prioritize in a power cable are its durability and affordability. Based on Xiaomi’s statement, the cable remains functional even after being bent 20,000 times, which is a bold claim highlighting its exceptional durability.
The prices differ depending on the cable version. You have the option to purchase the new 120W fast charging cable, which starts at a price of 39 Chinese Yuan which is around 5 USD, the 2 meter version of the cable is priced at 79 Chinese Yuan which is around 11 USD. It’s not certain whether the new cable will be sold globally but there’s a chance of being sold globally, we know there are many China exclusive phones out there but since it is just a power cable so, it’s not a product that should remain exclusive to China.
