A new leak suggests that Xiaomi is preparing a wide-screen foldable device, possibly with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The Huawei Pura X made a successful debut last year in China, prompting it to follow up with the Pura X Max. The main highlight of the phones is their unique aspect ratio, which makes them look like a foldable tablet.
According to earlier reports, other brands are also planning to introduce their own version of the model soon. Following a leak involving Oppo, a new tip suggests Xiaomi could do the same.
Recently, a unique UI layout from the upcoming HyperOS update suggests the brand could be exploring a wide-foldable aspect ratio.
Currently, there are no other details about this device, but the brand may include it in its current line, likely the Mix Fold. It could also join Xiaomi’s numbered flagship series, prompting some to call it the Xiaomi 18 Fold.
