Xiaomi releases wireless powerbank for Apple iPhone devices! Apple introduced MagSafe with iPhone 12 series and various accessories for MagSafe devices. Xiaomi has been releasing various charging products such as, fast GaN chargers, wireless chargers, powerbanks and even more. Now Xiaomi introduces the wireless powerbank for iPhone devices.

Apple installed magnets inside into the phone’s internal wireless charging coil and the MagSafe battery pack to ensure that the phone’s still holding. It also employs an NFC antenna to assist the iPhone in determining which device is in use because Apple offers many different accessories working with MagSafe.
Xiaomi wireless powerbank packs 5000 mAh battery inside. It can be charged through both the USB Type-C port and its proprietary charging port. The wireless powerbank can be used as a wireless charger on the desk as well and it has 12 mm thickness.
Apple’s MagSafe battery pack functions as expected, but it is prohibitively expensive for many people. Since it’s meant to be compact, it can’t charge iPhones with bigger batteries for multiple times and it costs $99. On the other hand Xiaomi wireless powerbank comes with charging stand and the powerbank itself together for 199 CNY ($28). It’s currently available for preorders in China.
Xiaomi’s powerbank is much more cheaper compared to Apple’s MagSafe battery pack. Xiaomi powerbank itself can be charged at 20W through its Type-C port and it has wired charging output at 12W. You will need Type-C to Lightning cable to charge with wire.
The powerbank has 2800 mAh rated capacity (5V/2.4A). Wired output rates are 5V/2.4A and 9V/1.3A MAX. It can charge the phone wirelessly at 7.5W. Type-C input: 5V/3A and 9V/2.22A, Pogo pin input: 5V/2.4A and 9V/2.22A.
