Despite being on its EOL list, seven Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco models have received new HyperOS OS updates.
Smartphones have limited software support. Once they reach their End of Life, they will no longer receive OS upgrades, new features, and security updates. However, in some cases, Xiaomi still provides updates for select devices.
This is the case for the seven Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco models that are experiencing critical issues. According to the Chinese giant, the updates also include improvements to overall system stability.
The new updates are now rolling out to the Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Redmi K60e, Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, Poco F4, and Poco F4 GT.
