Users looking to buy a new smartwatch may be undecided when comparing the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro, which went on sale worldwide in March, and HUAWEI’s new flagship smartwatch, the HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro. These flagship smartwatches from both brands offer users a good experience, but the devices have good and bad points when compared to each other.
Xiaomi Watch S1 and HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro: Body & Screen
On the screen side, there is almost no difference between the flagships from Xiaomi and HUAWEI. Both models have 1.43-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 466×466. This devices screen is protected by sapphire glass. As for the body, the HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro is offered with titanium and ceramic options, while the Watch S1 is only available with a stainless steel body. The back of the GT 3 Pro is also ceramic, while the Watch S1 has a plastic back.
Both models have 5ATM water resistance. There is no big difference between the sizes of the devices, but there is another smaller option on the HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro with a 43mm bezel.

The size of the internal memory and RAM of the Xiaomi Watch S1 is unknown. Xiaomi does not specify a data and the OS is limited. HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro is equipped with 32MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.
HUAWEI has started favouring HarmonyOS in its new smartwatch the GT 3 Pro and other new models. However, the version of HarmonyOS used on this device is a limited version due to insufficient technical features. It uses the highly efficient and compact LiteOS kernel. No third-party apps run on these two smartwatches from HUAWEI and Xiaomi. The number of watch faces is quite large on both models.
The battery of the Xiaomi Watch S1 is about 60 mAh smaller than that of the HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro. The HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro lasts 14 days with typical use and 8 days with heavy use, while the Xiaomi Watch S1 lasts 12 days with typical use. The Watch S1’s battery life is about 5 days with heavy use, but it can be used for up to 24 days in power-saving mode. Both models support wireless charging.

The Xiaomi Watch S1 and HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro are equipped with excellent health monitoring features and provide users with the most accurate information. Both devices have functions to monitor heart rate, measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), monitor sleep stages and detect stress. The HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro has ECG support, the Xiaomi Watch S1 does not.
