Xiaomi 15 Ultra launching globally on March 2; More device renders, sample shots, full specs leak

Xiaomi 15 Ultra finally has a global launch date. New leaks have also revealed more of its details, design, and sample shots.

Xiaomi announced that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be introduced to the global market on March 2 after its domestic debut in China later this month. As earlier reported, the phone could be announced on the international stage alongside the vanilla Xiaomi 15 model.

Ahead of the date, more sample shots and renders of the phone have also surfaced. The renders of the handheld reflect earlier leaks showing its huge circular camera island with a bizarre camera arrangement. The images also show the phone’s dual-tone design, featuring silver and black colors.

Meanwhile, after an earlier post from Xiaomi itself, a new set of sample photos taken using the Xiaomi 15 Ultra are also now available. The images show that a 100mm (f/2.6) camera was used. According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the handheld uses a 200MP Samsung S5KHP9 periscope telephoto (1/1.4 “, 100mm,  f/2.6). In addition to the said unit, the system reportedly contains a 50MP 1″ Sony LYT-900 main camera, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide, and a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
