New iQOO 15 leak: display chip, 50MP periscope with 3x zoom, wireless charging, more

New details about the iQOO 15 have emerged online, giving us more ideas about its display, camera, and battery sections.

The iQOO model is expected to arrive late this year. In the past few weeks, we’ve heard several leaks about the smartphone, and a new one has popped up again, thanks to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station.

According to the account, it comes with a 2K flat display that supports a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The tipster further claimed that Vivo’s self-developed independent display chip will enhance the screen’s performance. DCS earlier shared that it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip.

In the camera department, the phone is allegedly sporting a 50MP 3X periscope unit. To compare, the iQOO 13 has a rear camera configuration of 50MP IMX921 main (1/1.56″) with OIS + 50MP telephoto (1/2.93″) with 2x zoom + 50MP ultrawide (1/2.76″, f/2.0). As per earlier reports, the iQOO 15 also has a triple 50MP camera setup.

Ultimately, DCS shared that the device supports 100W wired charging, while its wireless charging support is yet to be determined. To recall, its predecessor launched in China with a 6150mAh (6000mAh in India) battery that supports 120W wired charging but lacks wireless charging. In the upcoming model, the battery is expected to be bumped to 7000mAh.
