This is Xiaomi 17 Pro Max’s rear display

Xiaomi has finally unveiled the rumored rear display of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max model.

The Chinese giant confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 series is coming at the end of the month. The company also explained why it skipped 16 and instead opted for the Xiaomi 17 series moniker. According to the brand, it has decided to directly challenge the Apple iPhone 17 series, which is why it even has its own counterparts for each model (except the iPhone 17 Air) in Apple’s new lineup.

Now, the brand is back to share and confirm the secondary display of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The concept, nonetheless, is not new for the brand, which featured it in the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. The new screen, however, is much bigger. It is a rectangular display sitting horizontally in the upper portion of the back display, and it houses two circular lens cutouts. As expected, the screen supports various functions, including Clock, Camera, and more.

The news follows a huge leak involving the models of the series, including the top-tier variant. According to earlier reports, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max will arrive with a flat 2K display with LIPO tech for thinner bezels, a 50MP 1/1.28″ SmartSens 590 main camera, a 50MP 1/1.95″ periscope telephoto, a 7500mAh± battery, and 100W charging support. The entire series is also rumored to house the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
