The Poco F8 Pro was spotted on the GSMA database. According to the phone’s details, it would be the global version of China’s Redmi K90 model.
Xiaomi is currently working on the Redmi K90 series, which will remain exclusive in China. However, like its predecessor, the lineup models are expected to arrive in the international market under the Poco branding.
The phone with a 2510DPC44G model number was discovered on GSMA. It has an Annibale codename and will be the global counterpart of the K90 in China, where it has a 2510DRK44C model number. Sadly, the phone is allegedly not coming to India.
The news follows several leaks about the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro. Both models are also said to arrive with an IP68 rating, 100W charging, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. However, the Pro model reportedly comes with a 7500mAh battery, while the vanilla variant could have a smaller 7100mAh cell. A tipster also mentioned in the past that there would be “new” displays, dual speakers, and metal frames. The account also previously shared that the Pro variant would have a 6.59″ flat 2K 120Hz LTPS OLED and a 50MP (1/1.3″ OmniVision OV50Q) periscope unit with macro capabilities. All the series models (vanilla, Pro, and Ultra variants) are also reportedly equipped with a telephoto unit.
