According to a new leak, the OnePlus Turbo model could be marketed as a gaming smartphone. Meanwhile, more details about its specifications have been tipped, including its possible debut timeline in India.
OnePlus is preparing a Turbo model. Earlier speculation suggested that this could mean the brand would launch a new series with the said moniker. However, most recent rumors say that the Turbo phone will instead join the current Ace series as a variant.
Whatever happens, a new tip says that this Turbo model will be dedicated to gaming fans. As per reports, the handheld houses the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and a huge 8000mAh battery.
The phone allegedly has the “Macan” codename and will offer some high-end features. Some of them include the Glacier Cooling System, a 6.7″ 1.5K 165Hz OLED with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 100W fast charging, a dual camera system on its back (50MP main + 8MP ultrawide), a 32MP selfie camera, an X-axis linear motor, stereo speakers, and NFC.
The Onelus Turbo is allegedly being tested in India already. As per the leak, it could arrive in the next two months.
