Honor GT 2 series batteries tipped

The battery details of the Honor GT 2 and Honor GT 2 Pro have leaked online, with one of them reportedly featuring a 10,000mAh cell.

The lineup is now rumored to be coming next month. As the phones’ debut timeline approaches, more information about them continues to emerge online. The latest tip involves the possible battery capacities of the phones. According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the first model features a 9886mAh battery (10,000mAh± typical rating, possibly the vanilla GT 2), while the other has a 9755mAh cell (9900mAh± typical rating, possibly the GT 2 Pro).

According to reports, the vanilla GT 2 will employ the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Pro 2 model will have a more powerful SoC, thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Both will share several similar details, including a 6.83″ 1.5K LTPS display, a 50MP main camera, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, and a full water resistance rating. To recall, the vanilla GT has an IP65 rating, and the GT Pro has a higher IP68/IP69 rating. 

As per earlier reports, Honor will also follow the trend of introducing 165Hz refresh rates this year by incorporating it into this series. We also expect 100W wireless charging and a maximum 24GB/1TB configuration.
