Honor has finally announced that the Honor Win series will be unveiled on December 26. A brand official also gave fans some ideas about what to expect from the models.
The lineup will include the vanilla Honor Win. However, unlike previous reports, the earlier rumored Pro model is named the Honor Win RT.
The brand also flaunted the design of the smartphones, confirming earlier leaks about them, including their built-in fan system.
In a series of exchanges with fans, Lin Lin, Head of the Honor China Smart Life Business Department, shared that no fanless versions would be released. The official also noted that fans could be turned on and off on the smartphones.
Lin also discussed the camera section of the series, noting that “imaging is not a strong point, but it is definitely not a weak point either (machine translated).” This is not a surprise, since the Honor Win series is expected to focus on gaming and entertainment rather than photography.
According to earlier reports, the vanilla Honor Win is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the Honor Win RT is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
