Despite earlier leaks negating the claim, well-known leaker Digital Chat Station reiterated that the Realme Neo 8 would actually be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip.
The Realme model is expected to arrive soon, since its predecessor was introduced in December last year. According to an earlier report, the handheld will be using a Qualcomm chip, but a tipster claimed the detail was “not quite right.” However, DCS, a reputable tipster, remained firm in his earlier claim.
In line with this, the tipster also reiterated earlier leaked details about the device, including its 8000mAh+ battery and 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. According to him, fans can also expect a metal frame and a glass body. The handheld also reportedly features full-level water resistance, suggesting a possible IP69 rating.
