Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 5 series will be officially unveiled this Thursday.
Following several teasers, the Chinese giant shared that the next Turbo lineup would be announced this week. Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing earlier revealed that the series would include the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which is said to be “the best choice in the CN¥2.5K price range for 2026.”
The brand also revealed the design and the Sea Breeze Blue colorway of the said model. Now, the brand has released the first photos of the vanilla model in the Auspicious Cloud White color.
According to the images, the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max feature the same design, except the former has a less protruding camera island. The standard model also boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip, a 6.59″ 1.5K LTPS display, a metal frame, and a glass back panel. It is also believed to offer a battery with a capacity of over 9000mAh, 100W charging, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a thickness of 8.5mm, and full waterproof protection.
The Max model, on the other hand, will feature a Dimensity 9500s chip, 100W charging, 27W reverse charging, bypass charging, a 9000mAh battery, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and full water resistance.
