Leaked image reveals alleged Oppo Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16 Pro Mini design

A tipster shared the purported engineering design prototype for Oppo Reno 16 Pro and Oppo Reno 16 Pro Mini.

Pre-orders for the Reno 16 series are now open in China. While the brand still hasn’t shared details about the series, leaks continue to surface. The latest involves the design prototype for the Pro and Pro Mini models.

According to the photo, the brand has embraced a new design for the devices. While the phones have the square camera island, the design has been altered, including the addition of a vertical pill-shaped module housing the lenses.

The prototype also shows a flat back panel and side frames. The device features a white colorway, which means the final products could also be offered in the same variant alongside other hues.

According to the tip, the series will also feature a Plus Key on the side frame. The Pro model is rumored to offer a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip, a 6.78″ flat 1.5K OLED, a triple rear camera system (a 200MP HP5 main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto), and a 7000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. An earlier report revealed that it could be offered in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations, with colors including white, black, purple, and green.
