Realme 16T key specs, design, May 22 launch confirmed

Realme has confirmed the existence of the earlier rumored Realme 16T.

The Realme model was previously featured in a poster leak that revealed its colors and design. Now, the company itself has finally confirmed the details by publishing the official press release for the model.

According to the material, the device boasts a square camera island with an internal pill-shaped module. It features a flat back panel and comes in Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black colors.

The announcement also includes the phone’s launch date, set for May 22. According to Realme, fans can expect a thin 8.8mm body, a 6.8-inch display, an 8000mAh battery, 45W charging, and all-scenario bypass charging support.

According to earlier reports, the Realme 16T 5G will be available in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. It also recently appeared on Geekbench, featuring Android 16 OS, 8GB RAM, and the RMX5268 model number. Sadly, it is rumored to get a downgraded MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip. To recall, the Realme 15T uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6400.
