Huawei has confirmed that several of its devices will see a price increase soon.
The brand is among the latest Chinese companies to implement the move amid the ongoing increase in memory prices. Huawei echoed the sentiment of other companies, noting that rising RAM prices and the AI boom are contributing to the crisis.
According to the company, it will officially adjust the prices of its smartphones, tablets, and other products starting on July 1.
“After careful consideration of various aspects, from July 1, 2026, we will make appropriate adjustments to the prices of intelligent collaboration products produced by the company, so as to relieve the ever-increasing cost pressure.”
It is unknown which devices will be particularly affected by the move, but the brand offers a wide range of products globally. In China, its offering ranges from budget to premium models. Its most recent release is the Huawei Nova 16 series, which includes the new budget variant, Huawei Nova 16z, starting at CN¥2,399/$355.
