Oppo Reno 16 series arrives with 4 members globally

The Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro are now available globally, joined by the new Reno 16 F and Reno 16 FS variants.

The Reno 16 series was unveiled in China first. Now, the brand is ready to offer it to its fans internationally.

To start, we have the vanilla and Pro models. While they have the same design as their Chinese counterparts, they come with some specification changes. This starts with the downgraded chips: the global Pro and standard models feature MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super (the SoC used in the Reno 16 Chinese version) and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, respectively.

The phones’ batteries are also smaller. Globally, both phones have 6700mAh batteries, with the base model in Europe only offering a 6000mAh cell.

On a positive note, the Pro model has a faster 144Hz AMOLED, while the Reno 16 stays at 120Hz, like the one in China.

The series also has the F and FS models. The two are basically the same. The only distinguishing difference between them is their batteries, with the F offering a 7000mAh cell (6500mAh in some markets). The FS, on the other hand, comes with a smaller 6500mAh battery. It is also important to note that they also come with different configurations. Note, however, that all series members may vary in configuration and color options depending on the market. Soon, the phones will also arrive in India.
