HMD Arc 2 debuts with new chip, but same specs as predecessor’s

The HMD Arc 2 is finally here, but it offers no significant upgrades.

To start, the phone features a newer design with a vertical, pill-shaped camera island. However, its display still has thick bezels and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera.

On a positive note, it now features a better Unisoc T603 chip, unlike its predecessor, which used a Unisoc SC9863A SoC. In other areas, nonetheless, we get the same details, such as a 6.52″ HD+ 60Hz LCD, a 13MP main camera, a 5MP selfie unit, Android 14 Go, a 5000mAh battery, and 10W charging.

The phone is available in Thailand in Dark Blue and Golden Beige. Its 4GB RAM can be paired with 64GB or 128GB storage options. According to the brand, it will be available starting July 20 for THB 2,990 ($90).
