The Huawei Mate 80 Air is already in the works, and some of its details have surfaced ahead of its launch this year.
The Huawei Mate 70 Air launched in China in November last year, featuring a design similar to that of the iPhone 17 Air. Huawei, nonetheless, is not the only company to release its own thin device inspired by the said Apple model.
Despite reports that sales of Air models have been underwhelming, Huawei will reportedly still push for the successor to its current Air phone.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Huawei Mate 80 Air is set to arrive in the second half of the year, likely in the same month as its predecessor.
The leaker also claims the device will be powered by a Kirin 9030-series chip. It is also reportedly coming with a Red Maple unit and a curved 7-inch display.
