Vivo has finally shared official photos of the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max.
The X500 series will launch in China on September 21. The lineup is expected to bring some upgrades, including better camera performance. The devices will also continue to use a circular camera island design we saw in the X300 series, except for the vanilla model, which now has a circular module placed inside a rectangular island.
Following earlier leaks about the series, Vivo released the official images of the models, showcasing them in their respective color options and designs:

According to reports, the vanilla model will feature a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9-series chip, a triple 50MP rear camera system, and a 6.59″ OLED display. The Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max will get a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro series chip and a triple 200MP camera setup.
Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao also earlier shared that the series will include the “Zeiss Ultra Dynamic Main Camera,” developed in collaboration between Vivo Blueprint and Sony. The 50MP 1/1.28″ BluePrint Guangyu 900 is allegedly capable of delivering the industry’s highest dynamic range of 17EV. Moreover, it is said to support 4K 240fps slow motion and 4K 120fps HDR video with direct HDR output.
For the Vivo X500 Pro Max, we expect a 50MP Sony 1/1.28″ LOFIC main camera, a 200MP 1/1.4″ Samsung HP0 telephoto, and a 50MP Sony IMX8-series ultrawide unit.
