Vivo has finally unveiled the design of the Vivo X500 Pro Max and confirmed that it supports a telephoto extender.
The X500 series will launch in China on September 21. Following several leaks about the lineup, the brand has finally stepped in to showcase the official design of the Pro Max variant.
Like the models in the X300 series, the device still features a circular camera island positioned at the upper center of its back. The marketing material also confirms that the model features a flat back panel with a two-tone design, offering it in silver and orange colorways.
Vivo also continues to market the series as a camera-focused creation, with the Pro Max confirmed to support a teleconverter. The phone will also be offered with a dedicated photography case with a built-in grip.
According to reports, the vanilla model will feature a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9-series chip, a triple 50MP rear camera system, and a 6.59″ OLED display. The Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max will get a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro series chip and a triple 200MP camera setup.
Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao also earlier shared that the series will include the “Zeiss Ultra Dynamic Main Camera,” developed in collaboration between Vivo Blueprint and Sony. The 50MP 1/1.28″ BluePrint Guangyu 900 is allegedly capable of delivering the industry’s highest dynamic range of 17EV. Moreover, it is said to support 4K 240fps slow motion and 4K 120fps HDR video with direct HDR output.
For the Vivo X500 Pro Max, we expect a 50MP Sony 1/1.28″ LOFIC main camera, a 200MP 1/1.4″ Samsung HP0 telephoto, and a 50MP Sony IMX8-series ultrawide unit.
