OnePlus 16 to return to circular cam island design

A leaked poster of the OnePlus 16 suggests that the phone will revert to a circular camera module design.

The brand’s flagship model is rumored to launch in China in October. Ahead of its announcement, an official-looking teaser material for the phone has emerged online.

According to the poster, the device will feature a circular module with two huge circular lens cutouts. Moreover, a separate leak showing the alleged render of the phone is circulating online in China, further supporting the details of the leaked poster.

To recall, the OnePlus 15 has a square module on its back. Yet the move is not new for the brand, as its earlier models featured circular camera islands.

According to earlier reports, the OnePlus 16 is reportedly coming with a 6.78″ 1.5K 185Hz OLED display with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It is also expected to arrive with a 9000mAh battery, 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, and up to an IP69 rating.
